A sense of inspired creativity meets a love of the unexpected in this couple’s Victorian terrace. Beautifully renovated with bespoke finishes, Bianca and Kristy’s home fuses the warmth and character of period details with the gloss of modern glamour. Everything about this home exudes personality and style. Beyond the classic terrace facade, a contemporary interior welcomes guests with a curated mix of eclectic pieces showcased against a fresh white canvas. There is a such positive energy and effortless flow to this home, from the luxurious mood of the living and dining room through to the minimalist light-filled kitchen and lush green outdoor area. As the girls welcome me in, we make our way to the kitchen counter for a chat over a pot of Fortnum & Mason royal tea and delicious sweet treats.

Greeting guests on arrival, a collage by Miranda Skoczek sits brightly above an iconic Fornasetti vase.

Collectibles are artfully arranged on a mid-century inspired console in the entranceway. “We asked Luke Furniture to make a custom wall console when they were delivering a chest of drawers we had ordered. The piece couldn’t be more perfect. And Luke Furniture named the piece ‘Bianca’ which I love!” – Bianca.

Perched atop a gleaming bar cart, this decanter set from Jonathan Adler was a designer find while the girls were on holiday in Manhattan. A gold hand from The Cool Hunter is the perfect accompaniment, elegantly displaying a handcrafted crystal bottle.

Artisan cushions from Fenton and Fenton lend an expressive touch to the soft leather sofas.  On the wall behind, an original poster from the 1981 Music Bowl Hippodrome in Zagreb is complemented by the geometric silhouette of a Foscarini light from Space.

Beautifully grouped objects adorn a marble coffee table.  The energy of a clear quartz crystal from The Cool Hunter brings balance and positivity to the living room.

Occupying almost an entire wall in the dining area, this inspiring artwork by Ewa Bathelier embodies both Kristy’s passion for classical ballet and Bianca’s love of fashion.

“Nothing makes us happier than a Saturday night spent with friends eating and drinking with the table covered in an abundance of food and bottles of red wine.”

A gold champagne bucket is transformed into a centrepiece planter filled with spectacular white orchids.  “I am sure it won’t be long until it’s filled with champagne again!” – Bianca.

Sumptuous textures in a muted tonal palette deliver visual harmony upstairs, from the luxe Sheridan linen to the pin-cushioned Heatherly Designs bedhead.

An oak dresser from Luke Furniture becomes a focal point thanks to impeccably detailed craftsmanship.

Softly lit by a ceiling height window, natural stone creates a calming space to luxuriate in. Opulent marble faced drawers bring an unexpected element to the beautiful bespoke vanity.

This kitchen is a home chef’s dream.  Renovated by Pepper Kitchens, the girls found their service and attention to detail to be first class. With every convenience cleverly concealed, the seamless lines of the custom cabinetry lead through to a sunny outdoor dining space.

Ready for impromptu weekend celebrations, a fully stocked bar fridge takes pride of place outside.

There’s nothing like alfresco dining against a backdrop of lush foliage. The stunning vertical garden was created by Atlantis Vertical Gardens.

Thank you Bianca and Kristy for a wonderful morning! I loved our cuppa convo and photographing your beautiful home.
