With the aroma of freshly baked pastries and the giggly chatter of 3 year old Ariana filling every room, Nicole’s home radiates happiness. On a beautiful sunny morning, we sit down to a pot of tea, jam and warm croissants, as Nicole tells me about some of the latest homewares she’s been sharing on @afabulousfind. An interiors addict with a discerning eye for design, both her instagram feed and home are filled with inspiring pieces.
Nicole’s simple elegant townhouse has a lovely sense of harmony. Downstairs a natural palette of ecru and oatmeal create a seamless flow between the spacious living and dining areas. Freshly cut market flowers and colourful modern accents pop against a backdrop of soft neutrals.
Filling the living and dining area with natural light, a skylight becomes a central architectural feature.
Viewing the ground floor from above, the nomadic patchwork rug from Loom takes centre stage.
Upstairs the colour focus shifts to grey and charcoal, where both the master and guest bedrooms deliver a softly sophisticated ambience.
Tranquility and creativity merge in Nicole’s master bedroom. The delicate intricacy of the artwork by Fiona Treweeke adds another textural layer to the tactile washed linen bedcover and pillows from Bedouin Societe.
Jardan side tables lend a sleek minimalist touch to the master bedroom.
Whimsical Fornasetti wallpaper featured in the walk-in robe, sets the scene for pleasant dreams.
Visitors are treated to a calming sanctuary of serenity in the guest bedroom. Rachel Castle and Sheridan bedlinen add a subtle luxe touch, while artwork from the Minimalist Store and lamp from Beacon echo modern simplicity.
Megan Park pillows and throws bring playful originality and a craft-like quality to Ariana’s room.
Thank you Nicole for a lovely morning tea, and sharing your fabulous finds with me !
