Mariage Fréres produce beautifully refined teas. The French Breakfast is one of my favourites, a full bodied elegant blend with a rounded taste of malt and chocolate. Established in 1854, Marriage Fréres is a premium Parisian tea company considered by many to be the best in the world. So it’s only appropriate that it’s brewed it in my French House Robert Gordon teapot. Pouring a cup really does feel special, so if you like the finer things in life, then go gourmet with this blend. Perfect for a private moment of tea indulgence.
Brewing and Serving:
– As a black tea, it should be brewed at 100deg celsius
– Brew for 3-4 minutes for the fullest flavour
– Its highly developed flavour is both rich and refined – an ideal accompaniment to sweet breakfast breads, french toast, blueberry jam and marmalade.
You can find Marriage Fréres teas at David Jones Bourke St, Melbourne
